The Treasury Department is rolling out a new vision of the backside of the penny (four, actually) to coincide with the centennial of the penny's existence and the bicentennial of Lincoln's birth.
The first one doesn't seem so bad, but the rest seem a bit unnecessary. Does this make the penny the last piece of American currency to get a re-design, or will that be the dime?

I think the dime has remained unchanged, which is so sad.
